Text Box: Country: Guam Ministry: Their ministry on Guam centers around the daily operation of the radio station. It takes a lot of effort to keep the transmitters, antennas, and other equipment running properly so God's life changing Word can go out over the airwaves. Jim’s duties include maintaining the towers and antennas, keeping the roads and grounds around our site, and working on the transmitters. The McIntyres take turns working the broadcast shifts themselves, which are from 5:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. seven days a week. Two people work five nights at a time on a rotating basis. The morning broadcast shift from 6:30 to 9:30 is manned by one person, on a rotating basis. Those not working the p.m. or a.m. broadcast shifts, work during the day to get the other maintenance work done. Sometimes it is a challenge, especially when we are short-handed and have to work more nights per month, but amazingly God always provides and the work gets done. Doris is also the Mission Hostess and Project Hannah/Women of Hope Prayer Coordinator for Guam. Commissioned: Appointed with Trans World Radio February 1990.
