In late summer 2001, Tim and Dee will move to southern Senegal, (Kedougou) about 10 hours from Dakar, the capital. They will work with Bible Translation teams to provide assistance in the areas of water (well digging, sanitation), applying for funding to encourage small income generating projects, agriculture assessment and literacy classes. The Mannings are thankful to be working in partnership with First Baptist Vincentown to bring the light of the Gospel to the Bibleless people of Senegal in a form they can read, hear, understand and accept. Please pray for Tim, Dee and the children in their adjustments to a new work and area. Dee will home school the girls in the fall. Pray for continued good health and safety during the countries civil unrest.
